Code of Conduct

GDS is dedicated to providing a conference experience free of discrimination and harassment for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, colour, national origin, citizenship, level of experience, religion, or technology choices.

We do not tolerate harassment of conference attendees and staff in any form and invite all sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors, and other participants to help us realize a safe and positive conference experience for everyone.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

offensive behaviour
stalking
use of sexualized language or imagery
sustained disruption of talks or other events
verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, colour, national origin, citizenship, level of experience, age, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices
advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour

Reporting

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome during the event, please report it as soon as possible. Harassment and other code of conduct violations reduce the value of our event for everyone. We want you to be happy at our event.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact us. You can make a report either personally or anonymously. You can make a report at any time, even after the event has ended: informing us of past harassment or incidents related to GDS will help us prevent a recurrence in our future events.

Anonymous Report

You can fill out an anonymous report here.
We cannot follow up an anonymous report with you directly, but we will fully investigate it and take whatever action is necessary to prevent a recurrence.

You can make a personal report by emailing us: report@gdsession.com This account is continuously monitored. You can also contact our event management team who can be identified by Discord roles in event Discord channel.
